In Today’s Worship

The best things in life are not things! Yet we become so attached to our things and possessions that they often control our lives. Today God speaks to us through the Seventh Commandment helping us to manage God’s gifts to us for quality living in Him.

THE SEVENTH COMMANDMENT

[God’s Gift of Possessions]

You shall not steal.

What does this mean?  We should fear and love God so that we do not take our neighbor’s money or possessions, or get them in any dishonest way, but help him to improve and protect his possessions and income.
